USA Government Inhuman Treatment Of Jose Padilla
Jose Padilla Goes To The Dentist
This New York Times report illustrates the disgusting, inhuman treatment the USA government has, for 3 1/2 years, inflicted upon Jose Padilla, a USA citizen declared an “enemy combatant”, shuffled off to a military prison, held without charges, and denied legal representation for a couple years until the Supreme Court told the government ot put up or shut up.
What possible reason would the government have in fitting Padilla with “noise-blocking headphones over his ears and blacked-out goggles over his eyes” for a trip to the dentist?

I say we impeach Cheney for this one.

I’m with you on that, but I also think that Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, Hadley, Woflowitz, and a few others should be tried for crimes against humanity to dissuade such future acts by our government officials.
I see that Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay prisoner plaintiffs have filed actions in a German court seeking the prosecution of Rumsfeld and eleven other government and military officials for torture.
