Xalapa Marimba Band
This is one of quite a number of marimba bands that play on the streets of Xalapa. This particular group includes a drummer. I have seen a group with as many as seven, three on the marimba, a drummer and three on güiros soliciting donations; and as few as two, one on the marimba and one keeping time and soliciting.
This group occupies one of the best locations in a very busy Centro shopping district. There was another group just down the street.
