Parque Tecajetes

Shortly after moving to Xalapa I posted photos of the beautiful Parque Tecajetes, located just a few blocks from my apartment. I returned for another visit last weekend to try out my new camera which takes still photos as well as video.

One of my favorite features of the park is this little aqueduct atop the stepped retaining wall you can see in the photos, with the water cascading to each successive level.

Here you can see the aqueduct with the water splashing from one level to the next.

The aqueduct crosses the path atop the arch in the photo at left, and discharges into the pond shown in the photo below
