Obsession

I haven’t been posting much the last few days as I’ve been doing this.

I tend to become obsessed when I become interested in something, and at the moment I’m interested in learning how to build web pages and sites. Consequently, I have been spending my time, lately, sitting on the couch poised over the laptop keyboard with mouse in hand. I’m also, incidentally, currently in the midst of a pizza making obsession.

Whereas I was able to quickly put together Casas of Playa Baracoa using the Netscape Composer program, publishing from Composer results in lots of junk code. So I have produced the Gringo Loco page from scratch using Microsoft Notepad and the editing function provided by the hosting company.

I am supposed to be preparing a post about my visit to the opulent church of San Lazarus, not far from where I stayed in Playa Baracoa, but my current obsessions keep pushing my self-imposed assignment into the future.

I’m off to knead the pizza dough.
