I Didn’t Know That
“Distrito Federal”, or D. F., as to which Mexicans refer (day f’ ay, phonetically speaking in Spanish), is reportedly home to 8,720,916 folks, as of 2005.
Greater Mexico City, which includes 58 adjacent municipalities, housed 19.2 million folks, which makes it the largest metropolitan area in the Western Hemisphere and second largest in the world.
