Romney - Religous Bigot
You’d think a Mormon would be a bit more sensitive to religious bigotry. Here’s what Romney reportedly had to say in explaining why he would not appoint a Muslim to his cabinet, in the very remote possibility he is actually elected, given that evangelical Christians, quite influential in the republican nominating process, generally are bigoted toward Mormons.
“They’re radical. There’s no talking to them. There’s no negotiating with them.” So reports a couple of Nevada GOP officials. The Talking Points Memo has the story.
