Clinton Camp Racial Innuendoes

Much has been written in recent days relative to the playing of “the race card” by the Clinton camp. You may find a rundown on, and evaluation of, Clinton camp racially tinged comments at The Carpet Bagger Report blog.

I have, until the Cumono “shuck and jive” remark, thought that the previous racially tinged remarks were coincidental. But so many well seasoned, apparently intelligent politicians within the Clinton camp have made such remarks that I now believe it has been orchestrated.

Then today, there was this utterly stupid utterance by the candidate herself.

“I remember hearing him [MLK] speak when I went with my church in downtown Chicago to go and hear and see for myself someone who had burst through the stereotypes and the caricatures [emphasis added] who could not be held back by being beaten or gassed or jailed.”

WTF? Whose “stereotypes” and “caricatures” ? Hers?

I don’t think Clinton is a racist, just shameless. And since she’s apparently tone deaf to racial matters, she ought to shut up on the subject.
