Posada San Francisco Antigua
As I mentioned in my previous post, I have spent an unplanned night in Oaxaca. I will be leaving at 9:30 this morning on a bus to Puerto Escondido.
It was another my traveling good fortunes that I happened upon the Posada San Francisco Antigua. It really is a wonderful little hotel.
A room is 450 pesos, breakfast included and the folks are ver nice.
If you’re planning a trip to Oaxaca do yourself a favor and stay here.

The header photo is of Cuban children bouncing on a tree limb I encountered in 2004 while hiking up the mountain to visit Los Aquaticos, folks living in an area of the mountains overlooking the Vinales Valley accessible only on foot or horseback. Los Aquaticos believe the water in their community is special, bath multiple times per day in the water and dry themselves in the mountain air.Photos
