You Know Me, AKA Gringo Loco, as I identify myself here in Xalapa, Mexico and during my travels to Cuba.

After receiving a call out of the blue, in Oct., 2004, from a fellow I did not know who indicated he was looking to buy property in the Satsop Valley, where I had owned thirty acres abutting the Satsop river (in the Southern Olympic Peninsula of Washington state) for the previous thirty years, during which I had built a home, fences, and had improved the timber stands upon the property, I decided to sell out and expatriate.

Ultimately, the fellow, his wife, and I struck a deal; and I sold or gave away almost everything I owned in the USA and moved to Mexico in October, 2005, spending the first nine months in Merida, Yucatan and living here in Xalapa since August, 2006.

In the above photo I am driving a horse taxi near Playa Baracoa, Cuba. I drove pretty well, even for a ways on the autopista (highway).

Iraqi Sculpture
